When you start a photo-shoot asking for divine appointments and maybe a little magic with lighting, timing and details, it is very interesting to see what transpires!! Yesterday was incredible on many counts, culminating with the discovery of good friends as I drove into Lighthouse Park! With an invitation to join them for a BBQ, I was able to celebrate children, a birthday, and capture some stunning images! Happy Birthday Dan! Thanks!!

With a delicate strand of glory little Michaela was woven together in her mother’s womb… and the High King of heaven called her by name, before her Mamma and Pappa and big Sister Hayley even had confirmed what that name would be!!! AMAZING! We are celebrating LIFE~!

Yesterday, I was able to listen to two of the “Father Gilbert” radio drama’s on a road-trip! Profound! These excellent dramas are written and produced by Paul McCusker! They brought  me back to the years of listening to “Adventures in Odyssey” with my Girls when they were young. “Adventures in Odyssey” is another avenue of Paul McCusker’s talent; a children’s radio drama that began 25 years ago, hosted by Focus on the Family. Those stories were foundational in assisting me to raise my girls with profound wisdom and truth. Paul’s trademark is to take truth and weave it through an excellent story to reach the heart of the listener and bring transformation. I highly recommend this man and his work. His writings will make you think, challenge the parameters that frame your world and increase your understanding of faith. Thank You Paul McCusker, for your creative genius and for your integrity. What decadence!

High Tea at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Decadent and Delightful. So good to take the time to cherish those friendships that have been built through the decades!

My heart is filled with wonder! I drove into Vancouver on Saturday and the magnolia’s were just opening. The beauty of each tree in perfect sunshine was breathtaking. I missed all of that 2 years ago. I was in T15 at VGH, till the 22 of April. The feeling of being rescued, kept and touched by the hand of God in the last two years is really quite profound. This branch  from Heather’s garden, caught my heart with the beauty of each bud and the detail of the subtle colours. It is SO wonderful to have the strength to be out and about capturing the details!

April 9th, Lorna was sent to the hospital for a blood transfusion and tests to confirm the problem. On April 12th Lorna was officially diagnosed with Leukemia and began what would be a 9 month journey of heavy chemo-therapy. During those 9 months an army of volunteers drove Lorna from Surrey to Vancouver and back, made meals, gave gifts, called, visited, prayed and encouraged us as a family. Thank You. You have made our lives rich! For those of you unaware of our journey; we welcome you to share in the celebration sale! We are grateful for life. Lorna is 15 months through the maintenance chemo, with 9 months remaining. We have every reason to hope for complete remission.

What a rich verse! I love it. “A noble man devises noble plans~ and by noble plans he stands.” (Isaiah 32:8) Tomorrow it will be 17 years of walking in relationship with my Beloved, Rob Rande. Daily, I see Rob working through the pain to provide for his family, to care, love and give. It is indeed a gift to be married to this noble man (in blue).
