The photography and graphic design for the “NEW” menu, for Dave and Amanda Bell, at BELL’S BISTRO, is done! What a great project!

It was wonderful to capture the master Chef; Dave, in action. His attention to detail, both with the presentation of the food, and the winning combination of flavors, is stunning! He is an artist indeed. Amanda is a Sweetheart. Working on the menu with her was a pleasure. For my birthday, my dear, firstborn Jessica Renee’ gave me this heart.  It spoke of much to me. For indeed, what greater honor or gift could we walk in, than to Love, and be Loved!? So, to the many who have made my life rich by your love, and to the many that I have had the honor of knowing and Loving~ Happy Valentines Day! Philippians 4:5 says; “Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.” I love this, gentleness linked with the nearness of God! May you rest in the gentleness of Love today.

Seeing a Reuben sandwich made by a master chef, certainly explained why the flavor was so incredible! Well Done, Dave Bell!

Here is an amazing couple. Dave is a chef~ ‘par excellance’ and Amanda is his beautiful wife. Together they are walking their dream of running a bistro and catering business. Some weeks back, I spent a wonderful afternoon capturing Dave in action in his Bistro! With a pinch of this and a dash of that, Dave created each of his luncheon menu items.Each dish was filled with flavor worth savoring! I celebrate with you Dave and Amanda!

Ephesians 6 “(13) Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (14) Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, (15) and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. (16) In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith,  with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (17) Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (18) And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

O Lord, we cannot even lift the weight of this armor without Your help, let alone wear it. Give us Your strength to ‘Stand Firm’ with truth, righteousness, peace, faith, Your Salvation and Your Word.

You know, we each go about living life… without realizing what we have, at times. I have recovered, mostly, from this Leukemia… only one more year of maintenance chemo left!! Things have been busy and I have been working lots! So, when my circle of dear friends gathered to celebrate birthdays (mine and Cynthia’s), I was caught by surprise when Cynthia shouted “She’s Back!” as I sat down at the table. Well, she saw my “big camera” sitting beside me, and responded accordingly! It is true, every photo taken in the last 2 years, when we have gathered, has been taken by my iPhone!! So, Thank you Cynthia for helping me see that another milestone has indeed been reached! Praise God!
